Description:

A randomized controlled trial assessed the efficacy of digital cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) in adolescents with depression. Participants were assigned to either a digital CBT intervention or a control group receiving usual care. Outcomes were measured using depression severity scores, with follow-up assessments conducted over several months. Results showed that adolescents receiving digital CBT had a significant reduction in depressive symptoms compared to the control group. The digital format was well-accepted by participants, demonstrating the potential of digital CBT as an accessible and effective treatment for adolescent depression, particularly in settings where traditional therapy may be less available.
